Biographical Info
The Carnegie Museum is located in the historic Carnegie Library building in downtown Hanford. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The museum curates exhibitions focused on different aspects of Kings County’s history. In 2023, the museum is featuring a series of exhibitions focusing on A Portuguese History of Kings County, including displays about immigration, the early and current families, culture arts, religion and the impact of the Portuguese community on agriculture, industry and business.
Hours: Friday – Sunday 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Admission cost: $5 over 12 years old; $2 under 12 years old with a maximum of $10/family.
